"Rain, rain, Go away!"
after i read twinsmom's blog...n saw 1 phrase she wrote..that phrase was her daughter sang it... it sound like tis..."rain rain go away come at other day".. so i recall back i tell my kids a story with the title " Rain , Rain Go Away!" let's me share the story wif u all..maybe some mummies can share the story to their kids as their bedtime story too.... ehhe..
"what a beautiful day," called the youngest grey rabbit as he took a look outside.
" The weather forecast is rain later," said Mrs Grey Rabbit as she hurried to finish her washing.
"Let's go on a picnic," suggested one of the rabbits, "then we'll be out of Mother's way for a while!"
Although Mrs Rabbit had to admit that was a good idea, she made all the young rabbits promise to take a rug or cushion in case the grass was damp, and an umbrella or jacket because rain was forecast. So the little grey rabbits each packed a picnic basket full of their favourite nibbles n set off down the lane.
As they marched along swinging their picnic baskets, they sang at the tops of their voice, "rain, rain , go away, come again another day." The sun shone brightly all that morning. The little grey rabbits played games in the fields, and at lunchtime they set out their picnic on the grass.
Just as they had finished the last mouthful, the wind blew a big black cloud over their heads and it began to rain. "oh dear!" cried the little rabbits all together, "We remembered our picnic baskets, but we forget our umbrellas n our jackets!"
"Nevermind," said one of the rabbits, "we can still keep dry on the way home!"......... and this is how they did it..... as they ran through the raindrops they sang at the tops of their voices,
"Rain on the green grass, and rain on the tree, and rain on the housetop, but not on me!"
Mrs Grey Rabbit was looking out of the window anxious for her family to return, when she saw them coming down the lane, she had to smile. " That's one way of keeping dry!" she laughed as she hurried them inside out of the rain.
"Rain rain go away, come on Mother's washing day!"
tis is the story..a cute story...haha...i think i shud change my blog to kids blog...yuhoo....
