My new spectales!
As brother already promise me wanna bring me go to make a new specs, so, 2day he bring me to 1 Utama to make a brand new spec for me..
Go to 1 Utama at 11.00am, wow, early in the morning, at the new wing’s car park aredi full of car…!! Wonder why so early aredi got ppl go to shop? They plan to shop whole day?? Ahha..
Then we go to the shop tat I make price survey last few months. It sold in package..where just RM168 for whole set of spec wif the lenses (index is 1.60). U think I can get my new spec at this price?? Definitely nope! I paid more than that!
Go into the shop, search for the nicer specs….choose n test , choose n test..look at the mirror ( can say can’t see properly oso, half blind! Ahha). Finally I choose a framless spec wif purple colour.. quite nice..too bad dun have pink! :)
Well, u noe, my brother like to ask a lot of question b4 he want to buy something, so the whole session, just my brother talk wif the optician… n I just sit beside him. listen what they talking bout…what multi coated lar, what computer lenses lar, what high index lar, what Hoya lenses lar..a lot a lot question that brother throw out for optician.. hahahha…!!
Then, the optician ask me to take out my spec n wan to check see how high is my power (isit call as power?? Not very sure, but she say like that lar.. or have a specific name?) then she ask me to check on the special machine… which I test for many time whenever I go to every optical shop for survey… hmm…the result stil the same.. not big different!
Then, I go to the room n have a eye sight test lor…for those who wear spec, they noe what is going on in the room lar..i dunnoe how to explain to u all lar…haha….
Optician: ok, pls sit down..
Milly: ok…*sit on a comfortable chair* *in a gloomy room*
Optician: ok, now u feel tired ornot? Fresh?
Milly: yaya..very fresh…why?
Optician: u got enuff sleep ornot? Got over 6 hours?
Milly: *count count* got..over aredi tim..sleep around 8 hours…
Optician: ok..then v can start our test… hmm..ur power is very high..which ur both eye oso over 700…hmm…must be wear spec since very small rite?
Milly: yaya….since I standard 1 I have my 1st pair spec wif the power just 50D (diopter) only..but now aredi that high…
Optician: hahah…!! Must be u too hardworking study n spoil ur eyes …
Milly: hahaha..ya gua..!!(in fact is I cry a lot when I small, stil remember?…that’s y I spoil my eyes, ;) …)
Optician:*block my left eye* look at screen, can u see this word? *pointing at P*
Milly: cannot…
Optician: *add on 1 lenses* now??
Milly: yup..very clear…
Optician: *continue ask the same Q n keep changing lenses*
Milly: *continue answer the same question..keep see properly*
After few minits…..
Optician: ok, look at this, the green colour’s P more clear or red colour’s P more clear? *is for the Cyl test (mandarin call san guang)*
Milly: red colour more clear! *say it wif my comfirm voice*
Optician: ok…good news, u dun have Cyl prob wif ur right eye, last time u have, but now dunahve aredi!. Good!!
Milly: huh?? Can decreased the level 1 meh?? How come??
Optician: erm..maybe is ur living style or certain reason lar… maybe u got take good care for ur eyes..
Milly: oh…
Optician: and ur power for ur right eye aredi decreased from last time 700D drop until 500D…good oso..!!
Milly: huh?? Power can drop 1 meh? Y ar?
Optician: erm..this question hard to explain, maybe is ur living style lar..certain ppl will maintain the power until he/she is old…some will keep on increased… for a normal cases, the power will stop increased at age of 24…around that… depends on ppl lar..
Milly: oh… (thinking isit mamibee always make carrot juice for me tat canm ake my eye sight more better?? Isit true?? I oso dunnoe)
Optician: u have been long time nvr check ur power…tat’s y got a lot different..if can, every year, u go to any optical shop to check for ur eyes.. check on the machine oso can, or u will more specific power figure, u can test on this..but have to charge lar…

Optician: sad to say that, current power aredi increased abit.. from 650D increased to 700D
Milly: hmm..okok…
Optician: but just slightly increased lar… n got little bit Cyl..
Milly: okok…
Optician: ok..now u try to come down n walk around wif this new lenses… isit the floor like floating? Can see the shop opposite there?
Milly: yaya..can see..very clear… n the floor no floating wor..

Optician: ok…total amount for this is RM4xx ..pls paid for deposit 1st..

Optician: after u get ur specs pls dun always exchange spec to wear… wear the new 1.. if not ur eye sight will increased again… n u might use up 3 to 4 days to adapt wif the new spec lar…
