Dissection

Last few days, our biology teacher asked every one of us must buy the dissection set for experiment dissect rat.

After paid for RM41 for whole set dissecting set and rat, today, the dissection set come! The whole set keep in nice black box! Quite heavy also!

See those scissor, blade, forceps… wow, yeah…can dissect rat already!

Here comes a problem!

Last time when I was Form5, our biology teacher carry out a experiment of dissect frog, to see those capillary, artery, heart.

Once we know we have to dissect frog! We are stunned there. We never dissect any animal before! In my mind there is 1 word “SIN” . Why must dissect?? I had no idea, we can learn it in the book what! Why must dissect the frog and see it?? Is very cold blood and cruel! Arghh…

But end up, what to do, have to follow teacher’s instruction also in order to get a good mark in SPM, aigh….

I still remember, I asked teacher why must dissect, is very sinful! Kill frog like that! See how the frog jumping because of the cloroform, see the heartbeat stop by cutting the heart in to halve. U guys know what teacher replied me? “ This is not sin, this is a kind of learning, we dissect it to learn n get knowledge! That’s not sin! That’s get knowledge!

Oh….finally, we did it in 1 group of girl! The 1 who in-charge in dissect is me! All the gal screaming at there, say this and that. Somemore chanting for the frog also. Oh my god!! I’m the 1 who cut the frog skin, the 1 who peel of the skin of the frog, I’m the 1 who cut the abdomen, I’m the 1 who do everything, including cut the hear into halve! That’s all I done!! While I dissect it, I feel bad also. But my group no girl brave to do that! What to do… no choice! Forced!!

Now, Form 6 already. No more group work. Everyone had the chance to dissect! But this time our target is rat, no more frog! Rat, is those white and long tail rat. From what I know, it is very smelly when dissect.
Argh….how I carry on the experiment?? Is very yucky!!!

I sms-ed someone and tell him I got the dissect set and going for the experiment soon, he just replied me. Is SIN!!

Isit that is sin?? But we just follow what ministry of education wan us to do. Isit they are the 1 who cruel?? Feel bad! Really bad for this time experiment! Luckily is after CNY only did the dissect thingy! If not, really, May God bless me! Amitabha for the rat!!
